George Mason University
George Mason University is Virginia’s largest public research university. It provides the bold, progressive education that serves the needs of the students and communities. The university has grown to more than 34,000 students from 130 countries and all 50 states. Mason is committed to keeping it’s doors open and accessible to as many capable students as possible. It provides a welcoming, safe and supportive place to live and study while earning their degree. The university a progressive, diverse university and it’s leadership reflects that. With over 80 undergraduate majors and 127 graduate and professional degrees, students can tailor an education to meet their career and personal goals. To that end, it has 10 schools and colleges devoted to a variety of areas of study. Departments and offices of the Mason Nation are filled with people willing to share their knowledge, expertise and experience. The university’s more than 1,400 full-time instructional and research faculty members are experts in a broad range of fields.
George Mason University has three campuses in Fairfax, Arlington and Prince William Counties in Virginia and an international campus in Song do, Korea. It’s main campus is in Fairfax, Virginia, just 15 miles outside of Washington, D.C.
