Trinity Western University

In 1957, a small group of people had an extraordinary vision to establish a Christian university in Canada. Today, TWU is Canada?s largest independent Christian liberal arts institution, with a comprehensive enrolment of 5,000 students across all programs, with over 30,000 alumni in more than 80 countries around the world.

The university offers 42 undergraduate and 17 graduate degree programs. TWU has earned national recognition in educational surveys for its overall quality of education reported in The Globe and Mail University Report and Maclean?s magazine. It has four Canada Research Chairs, in Developmental Genetics and Disease, Interpretation, Religion, and Culture, Dead Sea Scrolls Studies, and in Patient-Reported Outcomes. Trinity Western University provides a wide array of learning experiences, whether degree or non-degree, in its satellite campuses and through its various schools and institutes.

The Norma Alloway Library provides students with a variety of resources, including print volumes, electronic articles, microform and journals. The library sits adjacent to the student centre, and has many quiet study areas and private group study rooms. On-campus recreational facilities include a full gym, playing fields and tennis courts. A variety of fitness classes are held in Robson Hall. In addition, Recreation Services offers a variety of team sports for students of all levels of ability. Recreation Services promotes and delivers student-led wellness activities including intramurals, club teams, special events, group fitness, and equipment rentals.

Trinity Western University is a 157-acre campus located outside Langley, BC, Canada. Its location is 45 minutes from downtown Vancouver and an hour from the North Shore mountains. Housing undergraduate and graduate programs, the campus includes residences, food services, health services, fitness centres, mail resources, sports facilities, a bookstore, a library, and an ecosystem study area.
