Overview
With programs designed by an international body of industry experts, the Engineering Institute of Technology (EIT) is one of the only institutes in the world that specialises in engineering. Its graduating students leave the university with cutting-edge skills valued by employers around the world.
Students can study for their bachelor's and master's degrees either online or on-campus in Australia. EIT's short courses, vocational education programs, undergraduate and graduate certificates, and doctoral engineering programs are available exclusively online.
With some programs recognised under the engineering accords, EIT's vocational programs and higher education degrees are registered and accredited by the Australian Government. The university boasts a global presence with students from over 140 countries and has trained over half a million engineers, technicians, and technologists globally over the last 30 years.
EIT's online and on-campus programs are delivered via a unique methodology that makes use of live and interactive webinars, an international pool of expert lecturers, dedicated learning support officers, and state-of-the-art technologies such as hands-on workshops, remote laboratories, and simulation software.
EIT compliments its unique teaching methodology with hands-on workshops in the form of remote and virtual labs. While their remote labs are contextualised within the industry and are more comprehensive than most traditional classroom-based programs, hands-on workshops provide students with additional applied knowledge.
Whether a student chooses to study online or on-campus, EIT's supportive blended learning model and small class sizes allow learners to advance their technical knowledge and remain engaged in their studies while forming global networks and balancing life and work commitments.
