St Margaret's School
St Margaret’s School was founded in 1926, commencing a proud tradition of educational excellence. The school has long succeeded in leading young women into futures of success and prosperity and, from 2009, with the establishment of Berwick Grammar School, began a journey of educating and guiding young men towards similar success. It is an Independent, non-denominational school offering coeducation from Pre-Prep to Year 6 and single gender from Year 7 to 12. The school incorporates both traditional and modern educational methodologies to promote the personal and academic prosperity of each student.
St Margaret’s and Berwick Grammar School has a well-established support network for students. Curriculum initiatives, pastoral care structures, student management policies and procedures are all designed with student support as the core objective.
St Margaret’s and Berwick Grammar School is located in the south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Its campus is set amidst beautifully landscaped grounds of 30 acres in the heart of Berwick and all students have access to our outstanding facilities, which includes Lecture Theatre, Libraries, 750 seat Auditorium, Design and Art studios, Performing Arts Centres, Food Technology Centre, and Science and computing facilities. The school has a High Performance Sporting Centre that provides excellent fitness and training facilities that includes a fully equipped circuit room, indoor basketball facilities, grassed athletics track, and tennis and basketball courts.
