The Southport School

The Southport School is an Anglican day and boarding school on the Gold Coast for boys from Preschool to Year 12 with boarding available from Year 7. It provides a balanced and holistic approach to boys? education, with integrated programs of academic and co-curricular with a low student-to-staff ratio. Established in 1901 by The Right Reverend Horace Dixon and built upon a firm foundation of Christian values, the school has a long and proud history enriched by timeless traditions. International students have been a welcome addition to the community for over 50 years.

TSS offers a comprehensive academic program designed to prepare students for university and other tertiary studies. The progressive approach to boys? education enables them to prepare for life after School. Whilst providing the advantages of a new English-speaking culture for international students, the local and country students are also able to interact and learn from a diversity of cultures. This arrangement provides an invaluable experience for both International and Australian students. The cutting-edge educational practices include Leadership Development, Emotional Intelligence, and Thinking Skills. It also provides integrated programs of co-curricular and academic, with a low student-to-staff ratio. Students also participate in an extensive leadership development program within the School.

The Southport School has two campuses, the Preparatory School is located on Lupus Street houses our Preschool to Year 6 students and the Senior School Campus on Winchester Street accommodates Year 7 to Year 12 and five boarding houses.
