Recognized as one of Quebec’s top pre-university colleges, Marianopolis College boasts a diverse student body comprised of 2,000 students from over 175 public and private high schools, English and French, from Quebec and abroad. Drawing on its rich educational heritage, the college strives to be a leader in building a dynamic and supportive environment where students can grow both personally and intellectually.
For more than a century, it has provided a student-friendly environment where motivated young people achieve their goals, grow as global citizens and succeed at university and beyond. Thanks to the College’s strong academics, small size and diverse activities beyond the classroom, students discover new interests, network with industry leaders and participate in endeavours that provide them with an advantage when they apply to the world’s leading universities.
Quebec’s only English-language private college, Marianopolis is big enough to offer 10 programs touching on many disciplines, yet small enough to give students the personal attention that they need. Its library offers terrific online resources and print collections, excellent research assistance and a great space to study. Marianopolis College has more student clubs than any other school of its kind and it is the only college to provide activity period, which is an opportunity for students to hear from world-renowned guest speakers, play intramural sports, participate in clubs and generally grow outside class.
Its Academic Advisors offer support in all aspects of academic life and help students as they consider and apply to university.
Marianopolis students also have the opportunity to get involved in a variety of athletics. There are also many enriching activities, from the week-long ArtsFest every spring and the annual ArtsTrip to cultural meccas, to gaining hands-on experience via the Lab Project, to competing in the Science Fair and Math and Science and Robotics events, as well as the Tournoi des jeunes démocrates and Model UN conferences.
