The Michener Institute for Applied Health Science
For over 55 years, The Michener Institute has been a leader in educating generations of health care professionals because of its ability to evolve and respond to emerging health system priorities and the education needs of healthcare practitioners. As a post-secondary, diploma and certificate granting institution, The Michener Institute is one among a few Ontario universities and colleges responding to the education needs in healthcare. It provides a broad range of full time, part time and continuing education programs designed to meet the evolving applied health sciences needs within the healthcare system.
Michener’s fully equipped laboratories and simulation suites house advanced applied health sciences technology, including anatomy and physiology laboratories, microscopy labs, imaging and radiation therapy training suites that reflect the technologies found in today’s modern healthcare centres.
It’s classes are small to ensure students get hands-on interaction with faculty and curriculum is responsive to the workforce and the healthcare partners. The Michener Institute for Applied Health Science is located in the heart of Toronto’s hospital district.
