The University of Adelaide English Language Centre
The English Language Centre is part of the University of Adelaide's Centre for Professional & Continuing Education and offers a range of General and Academic English language programs, study tour programs and English teacher training services for international students and visiting groups. At the Centre, students will receive individual attention and support from highly-qualified teachers who are passionate about students achieving their best. They can benefit from having access to a wide range of high-quality facilities and support services whilst with them.
ELC is focussed on helping to prepare the students for their goals beyond the classroom, whether University study, work or personal interest. Students will have on going assessment and reports based on their performance and will receive individual attention from the teachers to help them succeed in studies.
The University of Adelaide English Language Centre is situated in the heart of Adelaide, in the business, shopping and cultural district, an area surrounded by parklands and gardens and bordered by the River Torrens. It is close to many city attractions such as Rundle Mall, the National Wine Centre, a vast range of cafes and restaurants, the Botanic Gardens, River Torrens, Adelaide Zoo, and the Central Markets. There is also a range of public transport to Glenelg and other surrounding towns.
