The University of Notre Dame Australia excels in Federal Government student survey
The University of Notre Dame Australia has outperformed the nation’s 40 other universities – both private and public – to claim top spot for providing a quality educational experience in a nationwide student survey commissioned by the Federal Government.
Findings of the 2017 Student Experience Survey (SES) showed that Notre Dame is the top rated university in Australia for ‘Overall Quality of Educational Experience’ with a 91.1% rating – an increase of close to 2% from last year – and well above the national average of 79.3%.
Results show Notre Dame rated first in WA and NSW for ‘Overall Graduate Satisfaction’, ‘Teaching Scale’, ‘Skills Scale’, and ‘Median Salary’. Notre Dame rated first in WA in two further categories ‘Full-time Employment’ and ‘Overall Employment’.
Professor Celia Hammond, Notre Dame Vice Chancellor, said that the survey results reflect the commitment and passion of all involved with the University to the provision of an excellent educational experience for each student.
“We are a university community that recognises each student as an individual and we strive to encourage, motivate and support them to develop their gifts and talents, realise their potential and flourish.”
