In Australia-If you have a bachelor degree you can stay for two years. If you have a master's degree you can can stay for two or three years. And if you have a doctorate you can stay for four years regardless of the field of study.
The Temporary Graduate (subclass 485) visa offers a great opportunity for recently graduated international students to gain valuable work experience after completing their studies.
Study & Work in USA:
For USA-Student visa [F-1] holders are eligible for a total of 12 months Optional Practical Training [OPT] per educational level completed.
If you have a degree from the government's designated list of STEM subjects you will probably be eligible to extend your OPT by another 17 months, meaning you can stay in the US for up to 29 months after graduation.
The extension is designed to give you time to gain a permanent job offer and sponsorship from an US employer, which allows you to apply for the H1-B, a more long-term visa.
Study & Work in Canada:
In Canada-Under the Post-Graduation Work Permit Program, international graduates can now obtain a three year open work permit, allowing them to work for any Canadian employer in any industry. They are not required to have a Canadian job offer at the time of application
In its effort to retain international students, Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) has recently made changes to the Post-Graduate Work Permit Program to make it more flexible and responsive to the needs of international students.
