Purdue University Northwest is a student-centered university that values academic excellence, supports growth and celebrates diversity. Located in Northwest Indiana, near Chicago, PNW fosters a vibrant academic community through high quality and engaging undergraduate and graduate education. The university offers more than 70 undergraduate, baccalaureate and graduate degree programs. Its Student Research Office supports a culture of faculty-led student research where collaboration flourishes through shared scholarship and research. The Office of Student Life at the university creates diverse co-curricular experiences that fit the needs of students via social and civic engagement opportunities. The programming initiatives build a student’s repertoire of personal and professional skills, assists with retention and student success efforts supported by the University, and develops graduates who are enriched and accomplished. Purdue University Northwest also competes at the NCAA Division II level in 13 men’s and women’s sports as part of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
