Some programs require students to complete a short test if they have no previous experience in that specific field of study, for example computer science. To successfully apply for this visa, students will need to provide an acceptance letter from the college. Students may also be asked to complete a medical examination if they intend to study for more than 24 weeks.

As with all international study experiences, students are required to cover the costs of tuition, housing and personal needs. All students attending Canada College must be able to prove they can support themselves financially whilst their student authorization is in the process of being issued.
