Ivanhoe Grammar School
Ivanhoe Grammar School is a coeducational Anglican School for students from Early Learning Centre to Year 12. It provides a wonderful environment for students and has a long history of providing excellent educational outcomes. The School offers students every opportunity to grow through a vibrant and exciting range of learning and co-curricular programs. The community is enriched with a diverse range of students where each child is valued and supported. It’s mission is to be a community of learning that develops in students the skills and attitudes that will prepare them for the challenges and responsibilities of adult citizenship and in which the development of individual character and personal achievement by all students is encouraged and celebrated.
Vibrant programs in areas such as performing and visual arts, music, sport, adventure, cadets, local and international service and leadership help students to develop their unique range of talents and gain awareness and a sense responsibility about the world. International in outlook with a wide range of co-curricular choices, Ivanhoe encourages students to discover and develop their strengths, no matter where their interests lie. At the Primary level, small class sizes ensure individual attention for every student and learning is enhanced with enrichment and support programs. In the Middle Years, the curriculum, transition and pastoral care program aims to engage students and ensure all students are supported in their learning. The Senior Years program, characterised by academic rigour, helps students prepare for the challenges of VCE over three years rather than two.
With three campuses across two locations, Ivanhoe Grammar School provides leading educational opportunities for families in the north of Melbourne. The Main Campus provides a wonderful environment for students from Early Learning to Year 6 at Buckley House and Years 7 to 12 at The Ridgeway Campus. Plenty Campus in Mernda offers students from Prep to Year 12 a warm and welcoming environment.
