The University of Adelaide English Language Centre

The English Language Centre (ELC) is part of the University of Adelaide's Centre for Professional & Continuing Education (PCE) and offers a range of General and Academic English language programs, study tour programs and English teacher training services (TESOL) for international students and visiting groups.

At ELC, students will receive individual attention and support from highly-qualified teachers who are passionate about students achieving their best. A key ingredient for ELC classes is enjoyment. Students will have the opportunity to meet students from across the world along with a broad range of ELC Social Club activities and events to help students make friends and experience Australian culture.

Moreover, students will benefit from having access to a wide range of high-quality facilities and support services whilst with ELC. Facilities include the University of Adelaide?s modern Hub Central complex, a space designed for students with 24-hours weekday access to computers, meeting rooms, cafes and restaurants and an excellent opportunity to interact with other students.

ELC is situated in the heart of Adelaide, the business, shopping and cultural district, an area surrounded by parklands and gardens and bordered by the River Torrens.
