AFTT offers industry recognized training in all areas of the filmmaking, theatre and TV world, from singing and dancing on stage to acting for a television mini-series, from rigging lights to designing sound, interpreting a Director's cinematic vision on screen to editing and post production on a high end commercial and everything in between. It teaches students to be highly adaptable, experienced and exceptionally skilled to address a broad range of opportunities in these growing industries.
Academy of Film, Theatre & Television?s Holt Street campus is located in the heart of inner city Sydney, in Surry Hills. As an advanced-design campus AFTT offer all the equipment and facilities to students that they would expect from a leading creative arts Academy. The campus includes five theatres/ screening spaces with HD projection and surround sound, computer labs, production labs, production offices and rehearsal spaces. AFTT has a dedicated foley and audio recording room directly linked to Audio Suite, and an open studio sound-stage space with green screen infinity wall for camera exercises and set-building.
