Established in 1856, St Catherine's School is proud to be Australia's oldest independent Anglican girls school. The purpose of the school is to develop young women of character and intellect who are equipped to make their unique contribution to the world.
St Catherine's caters for girls from Kindergarten to Year 12, and for boarding students from Years 7 to 12. It welcome girls of all backgrounds and respect the different strengths of each student, acknowledging that diversity enriches our community. The teachers embrace the latest educational research balancing clear instruction with engagement. They help each girl to learn in the way that is right for her, giving her the academic rigour, she needs and the tools she can use to flourish at school.
