Langara College started in 1965 as part of Vancouver Community College and in 1994, it was established as an independent public college under the Provincial College and Institute Act. The college offers more than 90 programs and over 1,000 courses across various fields of study, which includes arts, business, science and technology, health, and humanities and social sciences. It is one of British Columbia’s leading undergraduate institutions providing university studies, career studies and continuing studies programs and courses to more than 21,000 students annually.
