Oklahoma State University was founded in 1890 under the Morrill Act as Oklahoma Agricultural and Mechanical College, The University has grown through its traditions and culture to become one of America’s premier land-grant universities. It is a multi-campus public land grant educational system that improves the lives of people in Oklahoma, the nation, and the world through integrated, high quality teaching, research, and outreach.
