Sheffield Hallam University’s campus masterplan at the heart of the city
Sheffield Hallam University has come up with a 15-year proposal to create a sustainable and flexible campus. The first phase will cost around GBP 220 million and will be delivered over the next five years. The plan includes new buildings for the Business School and Social Sciences, refurbishing the Students' Union building known as The HUBS, creating a University Green and improving the current estate.
The masterplan envisions several phases that involve refurbishing existing buildings and adding new buildings to accommodate different student needs. The aim is to deliver facilities and an estate that enables and encourages a new way of learning, researching and working.
