For over 140 years, Toorak College has been committed to the education of girls and has played a major role in shaping the lives of thousands of women over many generations. The College welcomes girls and boys from 3 year old pre-school to Year 4. It’s Early Learning Centre provides an environment where children learn through play, exploration and discovery. Toorak College places an emphasis on a child's holistic development as influenced by Reggio Emilia practices and the PYP-IB curriculum, with a focus on the development of core skills. It encourages each student's sense of wonder and inquiry with an emphasis on their emotional and social development. The all-girl approach to middle schooling in Years 5 to 8 provides every girl with opportunities for leadership, participation and voice. The College provides innovative learning opportunities that encourage self -reflection, risk taking and confidence building.
Toorak is located at Old Mornington Road, Mount Eliza, Victoria 3930. Mount Eliza is situated on the picturesque Mornington Peninsula, approximately 48 kilometres from Melbourne. The Mornington Peninsula offers an idyllic, vibrant environment for child to achieve individual potential, develop a keen focus on learning and a balanced lifestyle away from city distractions.
