About University of Texas - San Antonio
The university offers more than 60 undergraduate areas of study that are spread across eight different colleges. It is an emerging research university and one of the fastest-growing public universities in Texas. The university currently offers over 100 graduate programs across its 7 colleges namely College of Architecture, Construction and Planning, College of Business, College of Education and Human Development, College of Engineering, College of Liberal and Fine Arts, College of Public Policy, and College of Sciences.
Roadrunners lead active lives, taking advantage of wonderful opportunities for involvement across UTSA's four campuses. UTSA offers many venues designed to enrich the Roadrunner experience. There are organizations perfect for social interaction, cultural engagement, service to the community and career enhancement. With more than 400 student organizations on campus, students have plenty of opportunities to give back to the community, make friends and live the Rowdy life.
UTSA has four campuses, Main Campus, Downtown Campus, Hemisfair Campus and Park West Campus. With 104 buildings on 600 acres, the Main Campus houses the Business, Education and Human Development, Engineering, Liberal and Fine Arts, Sciences, and Honors Colleges. In 2019, the Large-Scale Testing Laboratory is scheduled to open for engineering students. The new Science and Engineering Building is scheduled for completion in 2020. Public-private partnerships are providing opportunities for new housing and retail along UTSA Boulevard.
