Our vision and strategy
IDP’s vision is to build a global platform and connected community to guide international students along their journey to achieve their lifelong learning and career aspirations.
To achieve this, IDP is transforming the way international student recruitment services are delivered.
Together with our customers, we are co-designing a digital platform that connects our students with people, courses, services and employers so they can pursue their journey with clarity and confidence.
To put it simply, we will become the bridge that connects students from where they are today, to where they aspire to be.
What does the IDP of tomorrow look like?
Students will be able to engage with IDP however they choose, whenever they choose. Whether by accessing cutting-edge digital experiences on web or apps, or walking into one of our local offices around the world, parents and students alike will become part of the world’s largest international student community. This community will enable them to receive answers from current students, engage with universities and colleges around the world, and get real-time updates on their journey to studying abroad.
As students move from search to short-lists, our expert counsellors are on hand - through a range of channels - to provide the trusted advice IDP is renowned for. During this time, our counsellors share their deep knowledge of universities, cities and job markets, helping students make informed decisions that prepare them for the future they want.
This relationship will continue not only throughout our students’ education in their new country, but on to their career placement and beyond.
Underpinning and enabling this journey is our digital platform. The platform not only links IDP counsellors with our students, but more importantly, brings together our students and alumni from around the world to form a globally connected community.
