Code of Conduct
IDP requires the adoption and ongoing compliance with a Code of Conduct which outlines the standards expected of all employees of IDP. The Code of Conduct provides information to assist in the understanding of the ethical values and the personal and business standards of behavior expected of our people. The purpose of this Policy is to ensure that the IDP Code of Conduct is made readily available to all IDP employees and to ensure compliance with the Code of Conduct is monitored and enforced.
IDP is an organisation that aims to help people improve their lives, and the lives of their communities, by providing opportunities to access quality education and migration pathways.
We are committed to ensuring safe, fair and equitable labour practices are in place across our global network. This includes third party suppliers.
We are currently developing a Modern Slavery statement in line with reporting requirements and timeframes.
In recent years, we have taken steps to ensure supplier contracts have an undertaking prohibiting the use of forced or child labour within their business or third parties contracted to a supplier. All suppliers must comply with applicable anti-slavery and human trafficking laws, statutes, and regulations.
Suppliers must also respond promptly to all anti-slavery and human trafficking due diligence questionnaires issued by IDP and ensure responses to all questionnaires are complete and accurate.
As part of our Modern Slavery Statement development, a formal audit of selected suppliers will be conducted. Resulting from the audit will be an understanding of IDP's modern slavery risk and a mitigation strategy developed.
The full Modern Slavery Statement will be submitted to the Australian Government by March 2021.
The Whistleblower Protection Policy is intended to encourage and promote honest and ethical behaviour by providing a framework for employees to escalate concerns about actual, suspected or anticipated wrongdoing within IDP.
