IELTS Safety Guidelines
As we see a sudden surge in the number of COVID-19 cases in the Philippines, IDP’s priority is your and our staff’s safety. Together, let's take some precautionary measures to minimize the risk of getting the virus.
Please see the following guidelines on various IELTS matters.
1. All office transactions in the Manila office are suspended until further notice:
- Issuance of printed results (all results will be mailed to your registered address)
- Test fee payment
- Requests for Enquiry on Results
- Requests for additional or forwarding of Test Report Form (TRF)
These transactions will be accommodated online or over the phone.
2. Please do not come to the test center if you are feeling any COVID-19 symptoms:
- fever
- cough
- tiredness
- loss of taste or smell
- sore throat
- headache
- aches and pains
If you are experiencing any of these symptoms on the day of your test, you may re-schedule your test for free.
Please also note that most of our test venues require proof of vaccination or negative RT-PCR test result.
How to request for rescheduling of test:
1. Download the transfer form here.
2. Send the filled-out form to the following emails depending on your test locations:
Manila – ielts.philippines@idp.com
Cebu – ielts.cebu@idp.com

IDP IELTS Safety Measures
a. Social Distancing during IELTS test
We will maintain a 1.25-meter apart seating arrangement for paper-based tests. Meanwhile, Computer-delivered IELTS test-takers will be seated one seat apart. We will also strictly implement social distancing for any queues in our office and other test venues. If your test will be canceled or rescheduled due to safety concerns, we will inform you in advance and reschedule your exam for free.
b. Wearing of masks
All our staff will wear face masks for the entirety of the test. Test takers will also be asked to wear a mask to be able to sit the test.
c. Sanitation measures
Alcohol/sanitizers will be placed all over our test venues. Test takers and IELTS staff will have to sanitize their hands before sitting the test.
