Baylor University in Waco, Texas, is a private Christian university and a nationally ranked research institution. Chartered in 1845 by the Republic of Texas through the efforts of Baptist pioneers, Baylor is the oldest continually operating university in Texas.
With the range of Baylor's offerings, students can pursue almost any career path. Students can choose from 142 baccalaureate programs in fields as varied as business, education, nursing, pre-medicine, music, and computer science. In addition, Baylor offers 75 master's, 42 doctoral programs, and the Education Specialist program.
The International Study Center (ISC) supports high-achieving international students who want to pursue a degree at Baylor University. International Year program prepares students for the challenges of a Baylor education and offers the opportunity to study abroad. The ISC creates a supportive environment that helps students adjust to life in America and meet the high expectations at Baylor. With their help, students will rise to their full potential and make a smooth transition to their mainstream undergraduate studies.

The campus is within walking distance from Waco?s shops, restaurants, leisure attractions and nature areas these include the 114-acre Cameron Park, and the beautiful Brazos River.
