The University of Bristol ranks in Europe's top ten for teaching excellence, according to a 2019 evaluation by Times Higher Education.
Bristol has also risen to 65th in the world from its previous 119th position in the Center for World University Rankings 2018/19. It is ranked seventh best in the UK in the same league table, up one place from its previous ranking.
Outline planning permission has been granted for the University’s new Temple Quarter Enterprise Campus. When it opens in 2021/22, the campus will provide teaching, research and innovation space for around 800 staff, external partners and 3,000 students. It will also provide on-site accommodation for up to 1,500 undergraduates and postgraduates.
Due for completion in 2022, the ambitious Campus Heart project will transform the centre of the main Clifton campus into a highly visible, coherent and welcoming space. This will include updated teaching facilities, a new £80 million library and a remodelled gym.
