The university has more than 750 international students from 80 countries studying with us in 85 undergraduate programs and 93 master’s, doctoral and specialist programs.

University of Idaho - Navitas USA also offers on-campus pathway program for international students. The University of Idaho Global Student Success Program is designed to ensure that students gain the necessary skills to excel in undergraduate or graduate degree program. The Undergraduate GSSP is equivalent to the first year of a bachelor's degree program. It consists of for-credit coursework and provides an academic and cultural bridge from high school experience to studying at a university in the United States. The Graduate GSSP is a two-semester program designed for students who have completed a bachelor's degree, but need additional academic or English support to gain entry to a master's degree program.

Its more than 200 current clubs and organizations include Chinese Students and Scholars Association, Brazilian Student Club, African Student Association, Iranian Students Club, Indian Students Association, International Affairs Club and many more. The university also has an outdoor Program that provides the community with education and resources for wilderness-based and outdoor recreational activities, such as hiking, mountain biking, climbing, skiing and snowboarding. Students can also join an intramural or sport team, exercise at the Student Recreation Center or climb the 55-foot climbing wall at the Climbing Center.
