About Monash College

Monash College has played an invaluable role in offering many international students a pathway into the University. It offers foundation programs and English language courses, diplomas, study abroad, professional experience programs, and more. The college has two academic pathways into Monash University undergraduate degrees, which includes Monash University Foundation Year and Monash College Diplomas.

For over 20 years, Monash College has been helping international students get into their desired degree courses and preparing them for success in the workforce. Studying at Monash College is a wonderful opportunity to prepare for Monash life, providing students with skills, support and friendships that they’ll draw upon throughout your careers. It offers forward-looking teaching, focused on preparing students for the rapidly changing world of work. A Monash education leverages partnerships with industry, government and alumni, and aims to offer an unprecedented range of opportunities to participate in work-integrated learning experiences.

Monash College has three Melbourne-based campuses, each with its own unique characteristics. Every location has a friendly, respectful and enjoyable atmosphere that make students feel welcome from very first day. Each campus hosts regular social events to encourage interaction and inclusiveness. Students can take part in the activities and celebrations that make up Melbourne’s multicultural community, such as Lunar New Year, Harmony Day, Easter, Eid Festival and Halloween. Other events throughout the year include mental health and wellbeing days, movie nights and special games nights. The college also arranges the opportunity to visit popular Melbourne attractions and events, including the Australian Open, Healesville Sanctuary, Yarra Valley Chocolaterie and Ice Creamery, Dandenong Ranges and Sovereign Hill.

Its Student Engagement team arranges a number of on-campus and off-campus events and day trips, and provides general advice and support to students. Monash College’s clubs and societies are organised by students, for students. Academic, cultural and spiritual, and special-interest clubs are some of the options available to students.

Monash College is fully owned by Monash University, Australia’s largest university.
