University of Nottingham was founded in 1948, when the college was awarded the Royal Charter and became the university. It has a global reputation for academic excellence, pioneering research and employability. Students from different countries study at the award winning campuses.
It is a truly global university providing excellent opportunities to meet study and socialise with individuals from all over the world. There are a number of options for international undergraduate and postgraduate students who wish to study part of their degree at Nottingham. Other study opportunities at Nottingham include exchanges, study abroad and summer schools. International students have a number of scholarship schemes available to help them with tuition and living costs. Many of the undergraduate courses are available with a year-long industrial placement. Assessed internships can also be arranged for students on other courses where appropriate.
