TAFE NSW – Western Sydney Institute (WSI) is a government education provider and the largest Institute of TAFE NSW. It was established as part of TAFE NSW in 1883 and since this beginning the organisation has been skilling the workforce of Australia, meeting the skills needs of local and international industries and communities. Western Sydney Institute International is the international commercial arm of Western Sydney Institute, and has earned the reputation of providing a collaborative and innovative approach to vocational education and training in Australia and overseas. The institute is proud of its success in offshore delivery of TAFE NSW courses and customised training overseas for more than a decade.
Western Sydney Institute has international students from over 40 countries studying a wide range of courses from certificate to bachelor courses. Its international students are part of the Western Sydney community, providing a rich and valuable cultural diversity dimension and contribution to the community and colleges’ atmosphere. The institute also have experienced International Students Coordinators, in their seven colleges, looking after the welfare and support of each Western Sydney Institute international student. The institute’s history of long term global partnerships span over 15 years. These partnerships have evolved and grown rapidly with their local international students and overseas program delivery in countries like China, Fiji, Hong Kong, Malaysia, New Zealand, and Vietnam. Its overseas delivery allows students to study in the comfort of their own country and acquire exactly the same qualifications as the one provided by TAFE WSI.
