Your personal statement should be written in your own words and reflect your voice. It should outline why you want to study at Deakin, any extracurricular or work experience (paid or voluntary), what makes you a strong ambassador for the university and any other information that supports your application.
You may also be invited to attend an interview.
Am I eligible?
To be eligible you must:
be a citizen of Bangladesh, Bhutan, Mauritius, Myanmar or Nepal
be residing in one of these countries at the time of application
apply through a Deakin authorised agent based in the same region
meet one of the following academic criteria:
85% overall in Year 12 (CBSE, ICSE or State Board), or
a score of 10 overall in General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) / A Level, or
32 overall in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), or
80% overall in an undergraduate degree.
Conditions of eligibility
This scholarship is not available to international students enrolled in the Doctor of Medicine (H911) program.
All eligibility criteria must be met for the scholarship to apply. This scholarship is conditional on accepting the terms and conditions outlined in your offer acceptance form.

contact details of two referees who can comment on your community engagement and/or leadership capacity
a completed application to study at Deakin, including academic transcripts.
