The Barbers' Company Clinical Nursing Scholarship

The Barbers' Company Clinical Nursing Scholarship enables nurses and midwives making a career in clinical practice to undertake further education. The award is specifically intended for nurses/midwives in, or planning to return to, clinical practice.

The Scholarship is up to £20,000* offered to support fees or subsistence of a registered nurse/midwife undertaking a Masters or PhD programme (relevant to nursing/midwifery) in an academic department in the United Kingdom.

*The amount of funding from the Scholarship is normally divided between several applicants.

The successful candidate(s) will be expected to submit a report on their work achievements at the end of the year in which the Scholarship is awarded and may also be asked to share aspects of their work at a Scholarship Seminar.

Candidates can study at any UK university, not just the University of East Anglia.
