The Manchester International Excellence scholarships are open to fee-paying undergraduate students from Bangladesh, Botswana, Egypt, Ghana, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Singapore, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Thailand, Turkey, UAE, Vietnam, Zimbabwe. Awards will be made to the highest-performing applicants and based on the information provided in the UCAS application. For 2024 entry, there are 30 competitive scholarships available. The award is £3,500 per year (up to year 4).
To be considered for this scholarship, you need to meet the following criteria:
- be an international fee-paying, self-funded student from one of the countries listed above
- be holding an offer of a place for a full-time undergraduate course in the Faculty of Science and Engineering
- have accepted this offer and made The University of Manchester your firm choice on UCAS by the end of June
- maintain a 60% average performance each year of your undergraduate studies and engage with marketing activities to support future students who apply from these regions
- ensure you're fully registered with your Department on an undergraduate degree course as a new student.
