Master of Data Science Award

Eligibility & selection criteria

Graduate students currently registered full-time in the Master of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (MDSAI) and the Master of Mathematics in Data Science (MMath in DS) programs. Recent graduates within the past 2-3 academic terms may also be considered.
Selection will be made based on various factors that may include some or all of the following:

• Academic excellence (minimum cumulative average of 80% or equivalent)
• Demonstrated research ability or potential
• Student leadership and/or best co-op reports

The Data Science Graduate Program Director(s) and the Awards subcommittee of the Data Science program will select the recipients annually.
