The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit with priority given to students who fulfil widening participation criteria.
The successful candidate will be notified.
In accepting the scholarship, the successful candidate will be required to do the following:
attend a scholars' welcome event on campus during the autumn term
write an end-of-year report and message of thanks to the donor in the summer term
The successful candidate will also be asked to volunteer to support the Office of Philanthropic Partnerships and Alumni (OPPA) with other fundraising and stewardship activities throughout the year, but this will not be compulsory
Open to students from the UK (home) only.
To be considered for the scholarship, you must:
be holding an offer of a full- or part-time place on the taught MA in Philosophy or the Graduate Diploma in Philosophy.
be a permanent resident in the UK, and be classified as Home (UK) in university admissions procedures.
