The University of Reading has established itself as a place with great links to businesses and a reputation for research and quality of teaching. It was recently ranked in the top 200 universities worldwide (QS World University Rankings 2018). The University makes the effort to ensure all students are integrated well with a number of societies available for students of different faiths on campus, as well as societies that reflects different interests. Students can choose from more than 350 undergraduate and postgraduate courses, and 98% of the research conducted at the institution has been internationally recognised (REF 2014).
The University of Reading has invested over £500 million to create cutting-edge facilities for its students and staff. For example, Reading has a huge library that is usually open 24 hours a day and gives students access to over 1 million books. It has also invested in a state-of-the-art campus in Malaysia, giving students the chance to study part of their course abroad. This not only widens the reach of the university, but also makes UK study experience more flexible and accessible.
