Basair Aviation College was founded in 1991. It is the largest flying college in Australia, with over 50 aircraft available over three locations. The institute has an excellent, structured competency based curriculum which means students typically achieve a commercial pilot license in 8 months. It teaches both the theory and the practical aspects of flying.

Basair Aviation College's courses are designed in-house by aviation professionals with many years of experience training Commercial Pilots. Students are trained in theory and the practical exercises of flying. The courses are also designed to the latest competency-based standards.

Bankstown Airport provides the perfect location for professional pilot training. Hunter Valley Airport, north of Sydney, is home to one of the largest pilot training areas in Australia, making it idyllic for professional pilot training. Archer field Airport is a fantastic location for pilot training as it is Brisbane?s secondary airport and Queensland's major centre for general aviation activities.
