The Cathays Park campus is home to the majority of its Academic Schools. It is located in and around Cardiff's beautiful civic centre, which boasts impressive Portland stone buildings, parks and tree-lined avenues. The Academic Schools based at Heath Park campus share a 53 acre site with the University Hospital Wales, a 900-bed hospital which is one of the largest in the UK.
