Established in 1967, Conestoga now serves approximately 13,000 full-time students through campuses and training centres in Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph, Stratford, Ingersoll and Brantford and is a provincial leader in apprenticeship training. The College career-focused education programs – from apprenticeships to diplomas, degrees to post-graduate certificates, continuing education and part-time studies – all reflect Ontario’s changing job market and will help the students build the skills and knowledge that today’s employers are seeking. The project-based learning model provides the hands-on experience that will prepare the student for success in a wide range of potential careers – in business and hospitality, skilled trades, engineering and information technology, health and life sciences, community services or media and design. The students will have opportunities to participate in applied research and develop solutions for real-world industry clients.
Conestoga delivers more than 200 career-focused programs, and has more degree offerings than any other college outside of the GTA, including Ontario’s only college-based, accredited engineering degrees. The comprehensive range of programming meets the needs of a variety of learners, providing multiple entry points and established pathways to ensure that individuals across it's community can access the education the students need for the chosen careers. Articulation agreements with colleges and universities around the world provide the students with ready access to additional post-secondary opportunities.
Doon is Conestoga’s original and largest campus, located at the Homer Watson Blvd. interchange. The College’s main administrative offices are located at Doon, which is also home to full- and part-time programs in a wide range of areas.
