Dublin Business School is Ireland’s largest independent third-level institution, offering a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate and professional programmes. DBS offers a wide range of services, facilities, clubs, societies, sports activities and events. It places a big emphasis on providing a range of sporting activities, which includes Soccer, basketball, sailing, cricket and rugby. Examples of popular societies in previous years are the Surf Society, Psychology Society, the Film Society, Drama Society and the Poker Society.

Dublin Business School's student body consists of approximately 30% international students hailing from over 70 different countries. With over 9,000 students, the college hosts and promotes a number of student events throughout the year that ranges from Freshers Week to the Halloween Ball, the Christmas Ball, Graduation Reception and Rag Week.

Its student services department looks after the academic, cultural and personal needs of students and works as an important interface between college staff and students, delivering information to students and taking feedback on academic and administrative matters. The department also provides help with many aspects of student life, from finances to accommodations, study issues and travel and work visa applications.
