On January 1st 2019, Dublin Institute of Technology, Institute of Technology Blanchardstown and Institute of Technology Tallaght became Ireland?s first Technological University ? TU Dublin. With 28,500 students TU Dublin is the place where the arts, business, science, engineering and technology converge.

The new University, one of the largest third-level educators in Ireland, provides inclusive and open learning experience offering pathways to graduation, from foundation to undergraduate to PhD , to students from all over the world. Tallaght campus is located approximately 7 miles from Dublin City Centre. Tallaght is a vibrant suburb, southwest of Dublin City in the foothills of the Dublin Mountains. With a population of over 100,000 it is one of Ireland?s largest urban centres.
