Durham University International Study Centre is the first step to gaining a degree from a world-leading university that is one of the oldest in the UK. Student?s journey begins at Queen?s Campus in Stockton-on-Tees, where they will receive a high level of support and will find it easier to settle into UK life. The institute will help students all throughout the admissions process by providing expert guidance and support. After completing their studies here, students will have the confidence, skills and academic knowledge to study a degree at Durham University.

Durham University International Study Centre is a dedicated centre for international students located on Queen's Campus in Stockton. The campus is small and welcoming with everything students need close by.

International Study Centre help students to develop the skills they need for their chosen degree at Durham University. All programmes prepare students for undergraduate or postgraduate study and lead to more than 40 different degrees at the University. The institute provides opportunity to students to improve their English language skills and to learn more about the academic subjects relevant to their university degree. It also introduces students to the style of teaching and independent learning that they will experience when they start their undergraduate or postgraduate studies.

ISC staff are experts in supporting international students. They will help students adapt to UK life and will introduce them to the full range of opportunities at Durham University. CareerAhead is an important part of ISC?s pathway programmes. This helps students to plan for their future career and develops the skills they need to succeed.

The institute provide full support as soon as they arrive at the International Study Centre. Experienced teachers, a team of support staff and organized activities will help students settle in and make friends. They also have a Welfare Officer who will listen to any problems and look after student?s wellbeing and safety. The Student Support Coordinator helps with practical matters such as visa.

Durham University is a member of the prestigious Russell Group of universities. It consistently ranks as one of the top 100 universities in the world by the QS World University Rankings. The International Study Centre programmes are provided by Study Group in collaboration with Durham University. Programmes at the International Study Centre are delivered by Study Group.
