ELTHAM College is a school like no other. It is constantly adapting to the changing needs of young people and their world. The school supports students on their learning journey to unlock their talents through one of Victoria?s broadest curriculums. Most importantly, teachers at ELTHAM guide each young person to become empowered with the self-confidence and independence to manage all aspects of their future lives.
ELTHAM offers students opportunities within and beyond the traditional academic domain, with exceptional visual and performing arts, sport, technology, hospitality, outdoor education, international exchange and intercultural connections programs that challenge and inspire. The school offer a VCE program which provides the opportunity for students to apply to do one Unit 3/4 study in Year 11. Students collaborate with LifeWork staff during Year 9 to plan their VCE subject choices and refine the type of program they wish to undertake and also have the ability to combine academic and vocational courses throughout their VCE studies, thus developing a breadth of skills and an opportunity to experience different learning styles.
The peaceful environment of Research Campus in the green wedge of northeast Melbourne is a place where young people can grow, explore and express themselves. This is the main campus for Early Learning to Year 12, comprises 50 hectares of quality facilities, including Modern learning spaces, Well-equipped Junior and Senior School Libraries, Advanced information technology resources, Science labs, state-of-the-art Hospitality Training Centre, Year 3/4 History Centre, Environmental Reserve, LifeWork Centre etc.
