Such services include producing the immigration documents needed to study in the U.S., helping international student understand and maintain their lawful status, advising about travel outside of the U.S., and aiding with authorization paperwork for employment during their studies and post-graduation. They also offer walk-ins for quick questions and appointment times to discuss the complexities of individual immigration situations. In addition, they provide programming and advising designed to foster academic and personal success at Hofstra University, and they support cross-cultural understanding and exchange through advising appointments as well as vibrant programs that promote reflection, dialogue and inspired action. Their lush 240-acre campus is a nationally recognized arboretum, making it one of the most beautiful destinations on Long Island to enjoy a walk outdoors. And if you’re here in the spring, you’re in for a special treat: Thousands of Hofstra’s famous tulips bloom all over campus.
