It offers specialist qualifications in Aquaculture, Winemaking and Viticulture, Conservation, Maritime and Aviation Engineering, because the region is known for these industries, and the education/industry links are excellent. The Institute also offers a broad spectrum of other career qualifications such as Nursing, Business, IT, Social Sciences, Arts and Design, Hospitality, and the Trades.
Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology has three campuses located in Nelson, Blenheim and Auckland. Each of the campuses offer programmes designed to complement the business and industry demands of the area. The Main Campus-Nelson campus location means quick and easy access to the cafés, bars and shopping in Nelson city.
