Nova Scotia Community College
Nova Scotia Community College, established in 1996, offers more than 120 career-oriented programs in various fields such as information technology, creative fields, trades, technology, business, healthcare and human services. It has 16 full-service campuses with cafeterias, fitness facilities, and specialized classrooms and equipment. Student services offered by the college includes personal and academic counselling, career services, financial assistance, wellness support and help with finding accommodation. All NSCC campus libraries carry a wide range of learning materials in print, multimedia and online formats. The college’s student association organizes various fun social events like annual winter carnival, campus newsletters, holiday parties and also encourages giving back to community and local charitable causes. Nova Scotia Community College also runs an International Student Ambassador program that helps international and immigrant students feel welcomed and included, become familiar with their school and community and engage in campus and community events and activities.
