Since 1967, Sheridan has been moving undergraduate education ahead way ahead. Founded in 1967, the college has grown from a local college of 400 students to one of Ontario's leading post secondary institutions, educating approximately 18,000 full time and 35,000 continuing and part-time studies , students every year on four campuses in three Ontario cities , Oakville, Brampton, and Mississauga. An award winning institution, Sheridan attracts students from across Canada and around the world.
The College’s Creative Campus means the courses are designed to give students problem solving and critical thinking tools throughout the program, top to bottom. It is the first undergraduate school to offer a creativity course available to any student in any faculty. Sheridan College is a publicly funded institution overseen by a Board of Governors, which consists of both appointed and elected representatives.
