From humble beginnings in 1982, St Philip's Christian College now spans across six schools catering to over 4000 students from Pre Kindergarten to Year 12 offering individualized learning frameworks, innovative and engaging learning environments and opportunities for students to excel in the whole of their life. St Philip's Christian College offers excellence in education while keeping the truth of the Christian Gospel at its core.

Staff at St Philip's Christian College, Gosford, are dedicated to working alongside each student to draw out, enhance, celebrate, strengthen their God-given potential and to equip students with tools to succeed not only through their schooling career but through their life. At St Philip's Christian College Gosford, students experience a higher degree of individual attention due to smaller class sizes. In the mandatory subjects of English and Mathematics classes do not normally exceed 26 students. Teaching styles vary from subject to subject. They can range from a traditional model of the teacher at the front with whiteboard to interactive discussion groups.

Technology is utilized to enhance teaching methods using Internet and Multi-Media and Technology in a targeted way. Every student from Years 5 - 12 is provided with a MacBook. iPads are used in Junior School classrooms with electronic smart boards used throughout the College. Data projectors are installed in many other classrooms.

St Philip?s offers specialised support for international students, with a dedicated International Student Liaison Officer who works with students from overseas to ensure that their particular circumstances are looked after. International students enjoy a superior education along with opportunities in sport, performing arts, outdoor recreation, language development and a nurturing homestay experience.

The Central Coast Region of New South Wales is 70 minutes north of Sydney and 60 minutes south of Newcastle. It is a beautiful area of beaches, mountains, and waterways. Gosford is close to Sydney, so students can enjoy the benefits of the largest city in Australia while not living in it. Students are less distracted from the main purpose which is to study successfully. Also, accommodation is cheaper than in Sydney or Newcastle.
