TAFE NSW - Open Training and Education Network (OTEN)
Open Training and Education Network is one of the largest providers of distance and online education and vocational training in Australia. Being at the forefront of innovation and technological change, OTEN is continually adopting specialised multimedia teaching methods to engage learners. It delivers nationally recognised qualifications which are highly valued not only by their graduates but also by their industry partners and the wider community. OTEN delivers its courses mainly online, so students don’t need to attend classes. The students can access learning resources by logging on to the Online Learning Support (OLS) site via the OTEN website. This flexibility enables students to access the resources around the clock. Students can fit study into their busy lifestyles and enjoy the convenience of studying when and where it suits them. While OTEN is physically located in the suburb of Strathfield, Sydney, the students are dispersed across Australia, from Broome to Bairnsdale and from Atherton to Albany, as well as internationally in countries such as Canada, United Arab Emirates, Sri Lanka, Argentina and Germany.
