The Hamilton and Alexandra College is a co-educational day and boarding school. The College is highly respected as the prime educational institution in the local and regional community and plays an important role through its community work, leadership programs and co-curricular programs. The College is an internationally focused school providing an innovative and broad education within an environment of Christian values, encouraging optimum achievement, fostering personality and equipping the youth with skills and character to thrive and flourish throughout their lives.
The Hamilton and Alexandra College is extremely proud of it’s strong history and traditional values and equally proud of it’s outstanding facilities and innovative educational programs. The academic programs are built on strong foundations starting at the ELC through to a choice of programs to suit individual learning needs at Year 12. The college also offers structured programs in areas ranging from Leadership to Career Development. It’s co-curricular programs cater to a wide range of individual interests and needs, from it’s exciting Aviation and Equestrian programs to the excellent Music and Performing Arts programs.
The College has two campuses, both set in beautiful and spacious country settings in Hamilton in Victoria's Western District, a 3 hour drive or 45 minute flight west of Melbourne. Hamilton is a major centre located in the south-west of Victoria, approximately three hours west of Melbourne.
